Charline Pulizzi has been a loyal friend of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank for more than 35 years and has financially supported many of our youth programs and special events. She has also offered fundraising matches to support our summer feeding programs for children. The business she owns, Labels By Pulizzi, Inc., is a neighbor to our Williamsport Healthy Food Hub. Charline says she has been blessed to remain open and keep her 40-person staff working during the pandemic. She acknowledges that there are many in our area who have not been as fortunate.
“The support I give to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is used wisely and reaches so many,” Charline said. “The Food Bank has wonderful, well-planned programs that provide many children with meals and education to help them learn about healthy food choices. As a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, I can’t imagine a more tragic thing to befall anyone than to put a child to bed hungry.”
Charline is 85 years young with a large family – 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren!
We are proud to name Charline as one of our 2020 Hunger Heroes. #HungerActionMonth
