As a non-profit organization, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank relies on volunteers to fulfill our vision that no one should be hungry. Each year thousands of volunteers (working individually and as part of group efforts) donate tens of thousands of hours of their time to help their neighbors in need.

Safety Protocols for Volunteers
- Our current Volunteer Center is located at 1530 B Bobali Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17104. Beginning April 3, our Harrisburg Volunteer Center will be located at our Harrisburg Healthy Hub located at 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA 17104. Volunteers in Harrisburg area must sign-up through the website. sign-up through the website.
- Volunteers in Williamsport please email the Warehouse Manager for available volunteer times.
- Volunteer Requirements
- Masks are optional.
- Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
- Work boots or closed toes shoes are mandatory.
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
