CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS
Our Corporate Partners play an active role in the fight to end hunger in central Pennsylvania. Local, national, and global companies contribute dollars, volunteer hours, and millions of pounds of food each year.
Amazing things happen because of partners like you!
Consider sponsoring a program or experience. We will work with your company to meet your goals as a sponsor and find the best fit between our mission and your business objectives. Some opportunities include:
Experiences
Online Giving Days: Make an impact in our communities by supporting an online giving day that resonates well with your business. - Raise the Region
- Give Local York
- Centre Gives
- Palmyra Gives
- Extraordinary Give
- Giving Tuesday
Many of these campaigns offer stretch dollars, which allow your donations to go even further!

Corporations can help with food donations in a variety of ways!
Corporate Food Donations
We do our best to make donating easy for you and ensure you that your donation will be handled safely and efficiently. Donating products does more than make the donor feel good. It’s also a smart business practice. Here’s why:
- Recoup significant tax savings. The tax deduction usually equals cost basis plus one-half the unrealized profits.
- Save on storage costs and dumping fees on products that can be moved.
- Reduce waste of good product.
- Build your public image by supporting hunger relief efforts in your local communities.
- Corporate donors are protected from liability by the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act.

Virtual Food Drive
Hosting a Virtual Food Drive allows you to help many more of your neighbors in need by raising funds for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. The Food Bank can purchase food in bulk quantities at less-than-wholesale prices including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy and center-of-the-plate proteins which can’t be donated in a traditional food drive. The $1 that you might spend on one can of green beans can provide 6 full meals through a Virtual Food Drive. It is a simple and immediate way to help end hunger in central Pennsylvania.

Matching Gifts
Improve your corporate citizenship and support those organizations close to your employee’s heart by participating in a matching gifts program. Matching your employee’s monetary gift dollar for dollar will double your charitable donation power and help those less fortunate. To find out if your employer has a matching program, please visit your company’s HR Department.
The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank utilizes Pennsylvania’s NAP tax credits to encourage corporate financial and food donors to make generous gifts to the Food Bank. This special partnership is critical to the Food Bank since donations leveraging this program enhance the Food Bank’s ability to serve our neighbors who are experiencing hunger and donors receive a 55% tax credit. With inflation stressing everyone’s budgets and making groceries, transportation, housing, and other household necessities more expensive, the demand for food assistance is growing in every community we serve.
Eligible Businesses Can Receive a 55% PA Tax Credit
Participation is an easy 3 step process
Donors are eligible to receive this tax credit for gifts received by the Food Bank during the fiscal year, defined as July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
